About us
We are increasingly concerned about the sale of illegal vapes and tobacco, which is a corrosive problem in Australia. It is happening in plain sight and is dangerous to our communities.
We need legislation to ensure that the sale of illegal vapes and tobacco is stopped through effective enforcement measures that will close shops that continue to take part in illegal activity and put our communities at risk.
The STRIKE OUT Illegal Vapes and Tobacco campaign allows you as a member of your community to contact your premier and let them know that the sale of Illegal Vapes and Tobacco needs to stop now.
About Community Retailers
Community Retailers is a group of independent retailers nationwide concerned with the impact of illegal tobacco on their local communities, including an increase in crime and youth smoking rates.
Independent retailers and their customers see firsthand the damage illegal tobacconists cause their communities, selling cigarettes and vapes to children. Customers are asking their local independent retailer; how do we stop this? Now independent retailers finally have a solution and are calling on the Government to strike out illicit tobacco.
